Samsung [samsung.com] has the 40-inch Odyssey G7 G75F curved gaming monitor for $550. (EDU/EPP)
Furthermore, Amex has a Samsung credit for $100 if you spend $1000 or more at Samsung.com. YMMV
Yesterday, I got these for $500 each by purchasing 2 and got the credit.

Total= $900 plus tax
Unfortunately, Samsung updated their site, so it's no longer buy more save more on this monitor, but $550 is still a good price.
