The Amazon listing for this item can be a little misleading. I’ve had two of these pliers shipped and neither match the picture in the listing. My pliers both had standard straight cut serrated jaws opposed to the “diamond cut serrated jaws” mentioned in the listing (see attached images). The finishing on the pliers is also very crude for a plier at this price point. One of the serrations was deformed on each of the pliers, finish was blotchy and the black oxide finish was uneven and bled over the machined surfaces (see image).

For the positives, the handles have almost no flex and are one of the sturdiest pliers I’ve held. There’s an intentional gap at the very front of the jaws which is wide enough for one standard piece of paper to pass through (see photo), which is excellent for twisting wire. I don’t have any concerns over the durability of the tool and am satisfied overall.

*as a side note I mentioned I had two pliers shipped, this was because the first pair I received was shipped in a damaged box and the pliers appeared used with dirty handles. I’m happy to say that I am pleased with the second set that was delivered and those are the ones displayed in the photos.
