Oofos slides literally healed my years planter fasciitis. I don't walk around the house without them. Wish I could buy another pair but these sizes are no good for me.

These are the older model which I have multiple pairs (foam flattens). Issue with these models is there is no cup for your toes or heel, combined with the instability from the heel and they are a fall risk. That is why Oofos created a new pair of slides. The slides in this sale are $50, normally now are sold for $60 at Oofos. The slide with the cup to keep your feet in the slide and reduce falls, more foam than the traditional slide, and a more narrow front opening to prevent your foot from slipping forward. Tried Hoka the only true competitor in this space of recovery slides worth a damn but the newest iteration uses super hard plastic, are great for stability, but dont provide the comfort Oofos does. So far while wearing the new models I can say they are a definite improvement over the previous slide but instability/falling issues are still an issue due to them fixing everything except the sole shape. Either way I would spend the extra $20 and at least try the new model. Buy it from REI or a local store like FleetFeet so you can try them on as the narrow front may require sizing up.

true but Oofos new slide has sizing issues for people that have been wearing their slides for years the entire footbed is different, Oofos and Hoka also have some pretty annoying returns - sent something back for each company, Oofos took almost 2 weeks to post the refund to my card for a pair for <$100 slides. That turned me off from shopping at their site esp when the sales they hold are for terrible colors and are found same price at sites like Woot
