General Mills and Chex cereals for $2

Right now at CVS, there’s a big cereal sale happening. Select General Mills cereals, including Chex, Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, Cocoa Puffs, Trix and Cookie Crisp, come out to around $2 a box when you buy two participating boxes in the promo. A long list of other boxes, including Frosted Flakes, Corn Pops, Apple Jacks, Corn Flakes, Raisin Bran and Frosted Mini-Wheats, are marked down to $1.99 each.

That’s roughly $3 to $4 off boxes that normally run $5.39 to $6.79 at CVS. Over at Target, Chex runs $3.99 to $5.29 a box, with Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Lucky Charms in the same $3 to $7 range depending on size. And a family-size box of Honey Nut Chex is $4.97 at Walmart. So around $2 a box is close to half price.
