GameStop [gamestop.com] is running their "Stop Beating It" defective controller trade-in promo - trade in a broken controller (stick drift, etc.) and get the same trade credit as a fully working one, normally a $10-15 refurbishment deduction.
How it works:
- Bring your defective controller in-store, they'll test it
- If it qualifies as defective (not dead/unresponsive), you get full working-condition trade value instead of the reduced defective rate
- In-store only, no online trade-ins for this promo
