Update, 11/3/26: Several readers have complained to JetBlue and DansDeals about not receiving a Perks You Pick in 2026.

For example, one reader received the response below from JetBlue, denying that Perks You Pick was part of the 25 for 25 program. That’s despite JetBlue’s Corporate Communications department confirming to DansDeals last year that it would be included in the program,

“Thank you for reaching back out. We appreciate the opportunity to take another look at your concerns.

While I recognize this may not have aligned with your expectations, perk selections and program offerings are subject to change. Although a Perks You Pick benefit was previously available when your 25 for 25 status was issued, an annual Perks You Pick selection is not currently a recurring benefit associated with this promotion.

I appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective. Your feedback is valuable as we continue to evaluate and update our program benefits and work to ensure members have clear expectations about available offerings.

Thank you for reaching out and giving us the opportunity to address your concerns. We’re grateful for your loyalty and look forward to being part of your travels for many years ahead.”

It took several attempts followed by a hard deadline of today, but JetBlue finally responded that their email response to the DansDeals reader was incorrect and it will offer annual Perks You Pick,

“It does appear that this customer received inaccurate information from our customer support crewmember, and for that we do apologize.

As part of JetBlue’s 25-for-25 promotion, eligible members received a Perks You Pick selection for the 2026 qualifying year, but they had the opportunity to make their selection upon completing the challenge,  and in this case, the customer did so in late 2025. While this customer’s selection was made in December 2025, it was awarded to fulfill their benefit for the 2026 program year.”

I had a couple of follow-up questions about that, and JetBlue responded,

“If a customer completed the challenge in December 2025, they selected a perk at the end of the challenge that applied to the 2026 program year. Their next opportunity to select a perk will be in early 2027, with subsequent selections available at the beginning of each calendar year.”

“The 25 years of Mosaic status is valid from when the customer gained status in 2025 through January 31, 2051. The final year challenge winners can select the additional perk will be at the beginning of 2050.”

So there you have it. 25 for 25 members will have status for at least 25 full years. Plus, they will get a total of 25 Perks You Pick through 1/31/25, when their status expires.

Of course, JetBlue still has plenty of wiggle room for devaluations here, as I warned last year could happen.

For 2025, they removed most Mosaic benefits from Basic fares. For 2026, they reduced free alcoholic beverages and Mosaic 1 free bag allowance. For 2027, they will reduce the Perks You Pick benefit, for example, Mosaic 1’s 15K choice benefit gets knocked down to just 10K points, the 20 tile choice benefit gets knocked down to just 10 tiles, and the $99 JetBlue card statement credit will be eliminated. JetBlue will be adding upgrades to BlueFirst, but upgrade priority will be based on current tiles, of which 25 for 25 members may not have any.

JetBlue hasn’t turned a profit since before COVID and has been caught up in bankruptcy rumors. If that happens, programs like 25 for 25 may not be honored at all if another airline buys JetBlue or the airline goes out of business.

Update, 1/29/26: JetBlue shares that 2,370 participants from 43 states went for the challenge, and 90% of them, or about 2,130 passengers, completed the requirements for 25 years of Mosaic status. 254 of them had never flown JetBlue previously!

Update, 12/4/25: Last month, we learned that perhaps around 800 people earned 1 million miles each on the Turkish Airlines 6 continents challenge.

We also know that just over 900 people earned 1 million miles on last year’s SAS challenge to fly on 15 Skyteam carriers. The average age of completers of that promotion was 40, with members ranging from 4 to 73 years old, and 70% were male.

And now, JetBlue shares that 956 people to date have completed the 25 for 25 challenge, and 2,500 people are going for it. There’s still time to join, even if you haven’t started it yet!

Here are some of the DDF members who have qualified or are going for it. Did you complete or are you going for 25 for 25?

Update, 11/12/25: JetBlue finally has a 25 for 25 flight tracker. Are you going for 25 years of Mosaic status?

Update, 10/16/25: JetBlue will devalue Mosaic status effective 2/1/26.

Update, 7/30/25: With the DOT allowing the JetBlue-United Blue Sky partnership to proceed, JetBlue Mosaic members will soon get benefits when flying United like a free checked bag, preferred seats at booking, Economy Plus seats at check-in, free same day confirmed changes and standby, priority check-in, security, boarding, and baggage handling, with more reciprical benefits to be added.

Will that be enough for you to take the plunge and fly to 25 JetBlue destinations to lock in 25 years of Mosaic status and up to 725,000 points?

Update, 7/16/25: Dozens of DDF readers have embarked on a journey to lock in 25 years of Mosaic status and up to 725,000 points. You can see some of their adventures and itineraries, and plan your trip here.

JetBlue has a summer sale here, for bookings through tomorrow by 11:59pm ET. Fares start from just $28.30 or 1,100 points in basic, though basic fares are excluded from this promo. Blue sale fares start at $58.30 or 3,400 points.

From NYC, flights to Hartford, Manchester, or Providence start at $28.30, flights to Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Pittsburgh, Sarasota, Tampa, or West Palm Beach start at $53.30, and flights to Jacksonville, Orlando, Portland/PWM, or Washington/DCA start at $58.30 in basic.

JetBlue shared this video of the first member who qualified for the promo in just 2 weeks.

Sadly, I’m sitting this promo out. It’s just too difficult to pull off from my home base of Cleveland, and JetBlue’s presence in Cleveland is far too small to justify the investment required. But I’m jealous of the Boston, Miami, and NYC-based passengers who are going for it!

JetBlue 25 For 25 Promo

JetBlue is celebrating its 25th birthday with a fun 25 for 25 promo for flights taken between 6/25/25-12/31/25 and you’ve got to love their creativity!

  • Fly to 15 unique airports and earn 150,000 bonus points.
  • Fly to 5 more (20 total) unique airports and earn another 200,000 points, for a total of 350,000 bonus points.
  • Fly to 5 more (25 total) unique airports and earn Mosaic 1 status for 25 years. As a Mosaic 1 member, you can select an annual perk of 15,000 points, which would add up to a potential 375,000 points over 25 years! Of course, the 15K perk can be devalued or removed in the future, so don’t count on that always being available.

Note that only the connecting and destination airport that you fly to will count as a unique airport. Your origin airport does not count.

You can find JetBlue’s route map here.

You can find a list of JetBlue’s 113 airports here.

Unfortunately, Blue basic fares and Paisly bookings do not count for this promo, though award flights do count, as long as they’re not Blue Basic awards. Codeshare flights on other airlines do not count.

You must have a TrueBlue number attached to the reservation before flying. No registration is required.

Award flights on JetBlue booked through partner airlines will count, as long as your TrueBlue number is attached.

If you value JetBlue points at 1.3 cents each, that’s like earning $1,950 worth of points for flying to 15 airports or $4,550 worth of points for flying to 20 airports.

With proper planning, you should be able to create a mileage run that costs less than that.

Mosaic status for 25 years is certainly a unique and valuable offer, though Mosaic 1 is somewhat limited in benefits.

Here are the current Mosaic 1 benefits:

  • 2 bags, 70 pounds each, are free for you and your companions.
  • Free Inflight Beer, Wine & Liquor (ages 21+. Up to three drinks)
  • 5,000 bonus points
  • Free same day flight changes for you and companions, except on Blue Basic
  • Mosaic check-in, security, and boarding for you and companions
  • Even More Space at check-in for you and companions, except on Blue Basic
  • Preferred Core Seating, except on Blue Basic
  • Dedicated Support Line and Priority Chat Assistance
  • Complimentary upgrade to Business First on the Heathrow Express train

You also get to pick 1 annual perk from this list:

  • IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite Status
  • FoundersCard Blue Membership
  • Pet Fee Waiver
  • $99 Statement Credit on Select JetBlue Credit Cards
  • 20-Tile Bonus
  • Gift a 20-Tile Bonus
  • 15,000-Point Bonus
  • Mint Suite Priority

Of course, those perks can change annually.

You don’t earn any annual tiles, so if you want to earn a higher status, you’ll be starting from 0 (or 20 if you select that perk).

The bigger risk for 25 years of Mosaic status is will JetBlue survive another 25 years? After all, the airline has struggled mightily to make money in a post-COVID world and has slashed its network size many times since last year.

On the other hand JetBlue does have valuable assets and airport landing rights and if they do wind up merging with an airline like United, you may just wind up with United status for 25 years! United has honored lifetime elite status and club membership during previous mergers, though they have changed the terms of the status and membership many times over the years.

On the other hand, American didn’t honor lifetime TWA benefits, though the airline didn’t really merge with TWA, they merely bought their assets out of bankruptcy.

The points and status will be issued within 2-3 weeks of completing the offer requirements.

Want to mileage run or plan ideas with someone else? You can post on this DDF thread.

Will you try to qualify for this promotion?
