Well fitting gloves, great for gripping stubborn weeds
I have a huge garden with weeds with huge woody stalks and thistles. I go through multiple "gardening" gloves a season. They just don't protect my hands, or they fit too loosely or the fingers are way too long. These gloves fit great! I have shorter fingers and these gloves gripped my fingers and I didn't have a bunch of material out the end. I like that they are dipped in a rubber type coating. It makes it feel a part of the glove, not something that will peel off. The inside has the same breathable material that the tops have, so it doesn't feel like your hands are encased in rubber. The breathable material on top kept the gloves from feeling stiff and bulky. They don't feel heavy and I could grip and make fists easily. The thumb and palm has a little thicker coating of the rubber type material which is where when Im pulling weeds with most of my force. The raised edges give me good traction to help me get a good hold. Some of my weeds take two hands to pull and I've had them slip and cut me before so I appreciate the grip these have. I like the stretchy wrist cuffs. They keep dirt from slipping inside the gloves, but aren't so high that it feels hot. Lastly, I like the color. I feel like a super hero, lol! But the color makes it easier for me to see where I've left them. Im always putting stuff down in my garden and then not remembering, or seeing where I left them.

These are great gloves for thorny jobs! I've had them over a year and they are my go to protection. Good construction, too; They have held up well to heavy use. I cut out multiflora rose and pull out poisin ivy with no puncture or problems. They have been washed with Dawn dish soap to remove oils, but I wouldn't wash them often. Finger pad reinforcement is a perk. Fit is good for my skinny hands and long fingers. Once broken in, gloves are comfortable and don't limit dexterity.

If you a guy, stop looking this is the one you want. A lot of the gloves coming from china are sized for small Asian hand and arms. I'm 6' and way over 250 #, and wear a size XL glove. The XL size for these "fit me like a glove" (sorry). fingers were long enough palm was wide enough and went almost all the way to my elbow. Also very flexible for cow leather.
As far as thorn proof, I went right out and started pulling dead rose bushes, didn't even get a scratch.
They are leather so getting them excessively wet is probably a bad idea as they would probably shrink.

Beautiful and Durable, but not for Fine Tasks

I really wanted to love these. Right out of the box, they look very nice and the cowhide leather material feels high-quality and sturdy. The long elbow cuffs are a great feature for protection against dirt and scratches.
However, I ran into some issues while working in my garden. The fingers on these gloves are unfortunately too thick. When I tried to prune my vegetables and smaller plants, I found it very difficult to get a good grip on anything. Because of the bulkiness, it just isn't there for more detailed garden work.
They are likely great for heavy-duty hauling or protection against thorns, but if you need to do precision pruning or handle delicate stems, these might be a bit too cumbersome.

These are great gloves. I bought these so I could work in my garden. I have six rose bushes that scratch me to death every time I work on them. These have been a lifesaver. These also worked great for pulling anything that has thorns or is prickly.
They also worked great for pulling some vines that can cause itching like poison ivy. I will be buying another pair at some point.

They are wonderful ❤️. I can tend to my pineapples with not a care of barbs. Every gardener needs a pair. I bought an extra one for a friend. By the way, the brown is softer and leathery while the orange is stiffer and, I suppose, more resilient. But I prefer the brown.
